Round after round has resulted in only two remaining contestants. Now they will battle it out for the love of the entire Transformer Generation Dad geek community.
Lego has roared through the tournament, it's closest competition coming in the Formidable Four when it met The Empire Strikes Back. The Lord of the Rings has also been fairly dominant, facing fierce competition yet emerging a strong number one seed from the TV & Book division.
Now let's see what happens when they go head to head. Which will win the lion's share of the geek love? Will it be bricks and minifigures or epic fantasy literature?
I can't wait to see how this plays out. It has been a fun ride, watching the match-ups unfold each week, often in ways and with an enthusiasm I cold not have anticipated. I'm saddened, frankly, that this whole thing has to come to an end soon. But there will always be next year.
